Office and Retail Buildings
Aritzia West 4th Ave
Aritzia's new retail storefront at 2199 West 4th Avenue in Kitsilano occupies 3 floors in a heritage building. The design used extensive wood finishes while maintaining heritage features to provide a luxurious shopping experience. The design incorporated two alternative solutions to retain existing exits from the heritage building and maximize retail floor area.

Mark was the building code consultant and Certified Professional on the project. He consulted on the building code, prepared two unique alternative solutions for this heritage building, and got an expedited building permit and occupancy permit through the CP process.

410 West Georgia
410 West Georgia in Vancouver, BC, is a 25-storey office building with a restaurant, cafe, and retail space on the ground floor.

While working at LMDG, Mark was the project coordinator. He consulted on the building code, prepared alternative solutions, coordinated the CP building permit application, and performed CP site reviews.

Vancouver House Buildings 3 and 4
Vancouver House Buildings 3 and 4 are 5-storey office and retail buildings with triangular floor plans, sloping roofs, and internal courtyards, squeezed between the Granville Street bridge and on/off ramps.

While working at LMDG, Mark prepared several unique alternative solutions for these projects.

1 Lonsdale Avenue
1 Lonsdale Avenue in North Vancouver is a 3-storey passive house building utilizing CLT mass timber construction, with a ground floor restaurant and two office levels.
