Certified Professional Services
The Certified Professional (CP) program facilitates the issuance of building permits for new or existing buildings by allowing Certified Professionals to take on the design review and building inspection role on behalf of the city.
​
Under the CP permit process, building permit issuance can be staged, allowing excavation to occur while the above-grade design is still under review – this can eliminate months of inactive time between design and construction.
